I have even used it when on guided tour's. Extremely helpful for me and my wife's first trip to Europe in our thirties. We are staying three months and I am an obsessive planner.
This book was obviously self-published, without an editor. It appears that it was typed out on a word processor with varying font sizes and styles sometimes within the same section. The table of contents does not even contain page numbers. Very disappointed. Returning.
Just what I was looking for in a book about touring on a budget. Buy this. You won't be sorry.
Didn't really learn much. Found more on YouTube honestly. Just broad tips.
A wealth of useful information presented in a clear, concise, and interesting way. Very helpful!
Boomer? check. Financially challenged? check. Wanderlust? check.

What a gem of a book. Someone recommended this book to me and I'm sure glad they did. Now I feel as though I can travel to a place I've always wanted to visit. The book is chock-full of advice on how to travel through Europe without spending tons of money. If you're one who likes to get up and close with the locals, this is the book to read. Who wouldn't want to travel to out-of-the-way destinations, sip wine and partake in the local fare? Then when you want to travel into the city, there are tips on how to travel safely and cheaply. I'm glad I read this book. Hope to see you soon in Europe!
